42 AutoSports/Six Sigma Dyno Services
So...
I had some stuff done by 42 AutoSports in Rock Hill, South Carolina on Saturday.
**A+ Quality Service**
All in about 6 hours, I had:
1. Exedy Stage 1 HD Clutch Install
2. Exedy Lightweight Flywheel
Best thing is that they didn't sit and look at the car, trying to figure it out, like alot of shops... I had an appointment, and they knew the car when I got there.
Great guys, very knowledgable. They didn't try to squeeze the hours out of me, yet they took their time to do the job right. Steven has a system that can't be beat, man...he knows EXACTLY where he puts each and every bolt...
They didn't bad-talk other shops, and actually talked greatly about shops like AMS and Buschur Racing. I definately recommend them to anyone who wants a quality shop around here that understands the needs of cars like ours.
After the Exedy install, I followed the guys up to Six Sigma Dyno in N. Concord, NC (about 30 mins North of Rock Hill) in order to get a dyno test/tune.
The dyno was a DynoDynamics Dyno, which uses the International Standard calculation...which actually makes Evo numbers look almost like Civic numbers, haha... But once all of that was somewhat explained, I concluded that percentages spoke louder than an actual number readout.
I know pictures speack louder than words...

After all was said and done, there is about a 25% difference between this and a DynoJet or Mustang. That puts me at about 300 AWHP...and that's a modest, daily street driven tune on 93 Pump Gas... For reference...a stock Evo on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno will read about 195AWHP, and 248 is about 27% over stock...and about a 15% increase just from the last tune.
These guys said that they'd be interested to talk to us about discounts, as well as possible sponsorships once we become legit with SCCA, etc... So, we need to get on the ball!!!
Questions, lemme know?
